ALL. OF THIS. It’s made worse by the fact that FOUR YEARS AGO IN MERLIN’S LIFE Arthur repealed the death penalty for magic. There is literally no legal reason that Merlin would be executed for using magic. Arthur has saved a sorcerer from being executed and yelled at the people who were trying to do it in this season.

But, you know. Logic. Continuity. These things aren’t … things the Merlin writers do.
